In this talk we will consider the problem $- \Delta u (x) = \phi (y) (u (x))^p $ in $R^n$ where a points x of the Euclidean space $\R^n$ is denoted as $x =(y,z)$, where y and z are in Euclidean spaces of dimension k and n-k respectively for some k >1. We will discuss an associated existence and nonexistence phenomenon. |
