Overview
The representation theory of Lie algebras and Quantum groups has grown tremendously in recent years. There are various approaches to understand the representation theory of Lie algebras and Quantum groups. In this meeting, we will focus on two such approaches: Cluster algebras and Crystal base theory.
There will be three one hour lectures on
- Introduction to cluster algebras and their connection with current algebras, Demazure modules and quantum affine algebras by Vyjayanthi Chari (UC Riverside, InfoSys Chair Professor-IISc)
- The ubiquity of crystal bases by Anne Schilling (UC Davis)
Additional talks will be given by other experts on recent advances in representation theory.
