Workshop on Proteins: Structure, Function and Folding

The workshop will cover fundamental concepts of protein structure, function and folding, with necessary mathematical background and some exposure to the practical aspects. The workshop will also provide a glimpse of ongoing research activities in these areas.
The topics covered are:
Geometry and topology of protein structure, structure prediction, 3-D alignment, inferring function from structure, theoretical aspects of protein folding, energetics and optimization, molecular recognition, simulations, graph theory and pattern recognition.
