- A brief review of Hausdorff and Fourier dimensions
- Salem sets and Salem measures
- Continuum analogue of Szemeredi - type problems for sparse subsets of Euclidean spaces
- Existence of three point configurations in Salem sets in R – discussion of proof
- Higher dimensional extensions
WEEK II:
AUGUST 26, 2013 to AUGUST 29, 2013

- Stein's spherical maximal theorem, Bourgain's circular maximal theorem,
- measure-theoretic extensions
- Differentiation for measures - a question of Aversa and Preiss
- A Lebesgue-independent differentation theorem in R
- Overview of proof
