My work concerns Calculus of Variations, Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Analysis.
In particular, geometric variational problems, where the existence and regularity issues are tied with the geometric and even topological properties of the relevant geometric structures.
I am especially interested in nonlinear systems of PDEs, typically elliptic, subelliptic or nearly elliptic, often involving differential forms.
I am presently an Assistant Professor (Tenure track) in the Department of Mathematics of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru and a member of the Analysis and Probability Research Group.
Please note that I am currently not accepting students from outside IISc for short (Summer/Winter) projects/interships.
At present, I am only accepting students for longer projects (at least a semester long) which are part of your curriculum (i.e. grades of the project would be added to your final grade/score in the program you are in).
So emails sent to me for short projects/internships are unlikely to receive a reply.
