2008 - 2009

As a part of the annual thematic programme in the IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI) will be organizing a conference in "Analysis and its Applications" from May 25 - 27, 2009.

The conference hopes to bring analysts (pure and applied) in India and other countries together to discuss various problems. The following are expected to participate in the conference:

1. A. Strasburger (Warsaw University, Poland)
2. R. Rochberg (Washington University, St Louis)
3. M. Englis (Mathematics Institute, Czech Republic)
4. S. Twareque Ali (Concordia University, Canada)
5. S. Jaffard (University of Pairs 12)
6. Patrice Abry (ENS Lyon)
   
   

A number of other mathematicians are expected to visit the Department of Mathematics, IISc, Bangalore during this period.
