Networks play an important role in many areas of science and engineering. This workshop would view the structure and function of networks primarily from the standpoint of physicists. It is being held in honour of Prof. R. E. Amritkar (Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad) who is turning 60 this year. This workshop is part of a special year on Networks being organized by the IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI).
