  1. Mr. K. Srikanth Reddy was one of the student who was inspired by a short course on “Basic Algebraic Geometry” (during December 1993) given by me. He had used non-trivial parts of algebraic geometry to study “Algebraic Geometric Codes”.
  2. Dr. I. Sengupta worked for his Ph. D. Thesis (was submitted on 21-09-2000) entitled “Betti numbers, Gr bner basis and syzygies for certain affine monomial curves” under my guidance and was awarded ph. D. degree (oral open defence was held on 05-03-2001). The following research papers are based on the Ph. D. thesis of Mr. Sengupta :
