Workshop on Communication Networks

The IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will be organizing a workshop on Communication Network from July 23 - 28, 2007.
The workshop will start with tutorial lectures on basic concepts in communication networks, stochastic processes and queuing theory followed by applications of stochastic processes to communication networks. Invited speakers and other participants will give talks and present posters at the workshop on recent advances in the field.
A maximum of 10 seats will be reserved for scientists from organizations, which finance the theme programme.
Students and faculty from IISc who desire to participate in the theme programme will need to register.
