Event Title: Optimum experimental design

Abstract/Brief Description: Often, the measurement process does not yield a sufficiently trustworthy estimation of model parameters. In most cases, the reason is not a lack of efficient numerical PI techniques, but rather a lack of statistical quality of the mapping from parameters to measurement. In this talk, we will discuss this problem and present practical examples of nonlinear optimum experimental design solutions.
