Welcome to NBHM Regional Library
The National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) was formed by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) to foster the development of higher mathematics in the country, help in the establishment and development of mathematics centres and give financial assitance to research projects and to doctoral and post-doctoral scholars.The NBHM has recognised the Institute Library as the Regional Centre for Mathematics for the Southern region. This regional centre was set up in 1992 at JRD Tata Memorial Library.
JRD Tata Memorial Library is the regional centre for acquiring books, journals and other information resource for all mathematicians of the Southern Region to deliver mathematics information resoruces.
"The main aim of NBHM is to provide library facilities to research workers in mathematics and the faculty of the Universities and academic institutions for reference, to provide facility for xeroxing of research papers and inter-library loan facility."
