lecture on November 5 will be at 3:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall 5.
October 28: The make-up lecture on October 28 will be held in Lecture Hall 5.
October 25: There will be no classes during the week of November 14 (I shall
be away for a conference).
We will compensate with make-up lectures on October 29, November 5 and November 26. The make-up
lecture on October 29 will be at 3:30 p.m. Further information will follow.
October 14: The final exam in this course will be held on December 8 at 9:00 a.m.

October 12: The final exam will be an open-notes exam. The word "notes"
includes not just your lecture notes, but your homework assignments, and anything
written/TeXed by you in the course of studying the subject. However, no books will be
allowed at the exam venue.
