NETWORKS AND GAMES (NAG)

December 07 - 09, 2015

Nature of the program:

Networks permeate most disciplines of sciences, engineering, economics etc. Game theory helps in studying competition and coordination among the agents of the network. The workshop aims to bring together, people working in diverse disciplines and provides a common platform to discuss various problems and ideas underlying the theory and applications of networks.

Topics to be covered:

  • Game theory
  • Complex Networks
  • Social and Economic Networks

Submission Details:

We solicit original contributions featuring quality and unpublished research work on the topics mentioned above. The authors can submit completed as well as ongoing research works. Papers will be evaluated for inclusion in the program for oral or poster presentation. NAG-2015 submissions are refereed, yet NAG does not publish proceedings other than a conference booklet with extended abstract of selected papers. Hence, presenting your paper at NAG will not prevent you from submitting it to journals or to other conferences. A special issue of SADHANA , containing selected full length papers, refereed according to the high standards of SADHANA , is planned.

Request for Participation:

Everyone who wishes to participate in the workshop must request for participation unrelated to whether he/she is submitting a paper or not. Limited number of travel grants are available which will cover partial or full financial aid for travel and lodging. Travel grants will be made available to only few of the participants selected based on their resume. The rest of the participants have to manage their stay and travel on their own. A discounted lodging facility might be made available to the participants not benefiting from any travel grant. There is no registration fee for those participants who request before the deadline. Participants registering after the deadline may be nominally charged to meet the participant's expenses at the workshop.
